Report: Deadliest Highway In New Jersey Runs Through Bergen County The deadliest highway in New Jersey runs right through several municipalities in Bergen and Passaic counties. According to data from the New Jersey Department of Transportation and State Police, the Garden State Parkway is the deadliest in the state, with 32 fatalities occurring on the highway last year, NJ.com reports. Highway fatalities were up in 2016 from 2015, and experts say that's because there is more traffic, the article says. Driver Charged With DWI After Slamming Into Car On Route 59 ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. --  The driver of a 2012 Mustang who slammed into the rear of another vehicle Sunday morning on Route 59 in Rockland has been charged with DWI. Ramapo police responded to the crash in the early morning hours on Sunday. When officers arrived, they found the unidentified driver of the Mustang had read-ended a 2006 Chevrolet, police said. After hitting the Chevrolet, the Mustang left the roadway, struck an embankment, and rolled over, finally landing back on its wheels, police said. The driver was arrested and charged with DWI along with other vehicle and traffic laws.

Solange Lopez was hit around 10 a.m. Friday by a 2010 Dodge Ram at the intersection of South Greenbush Road and Bradley Parkway.
