A verbal argument on a SEPTA bus on Thursday night, May 23 led to four people being cut with a knife, Upper Merion police said in a release. It happened on a Route 99 bus near the Macy's at King of Prussia mall, according to investigators. Authorities said three teen girls and an adult woman began arguing when one of them threw a drink at another. The four began to fight and the adult woman "brandished a small pocket knife," cutting the teens and her own hands during the scuffle, police said. Carbon County Motorcyclist, 33, Killed In Whitehall Crash: Coroner
Authorities are investigating the crash that killed a Penn Forest man on Thursday night, May 23. James J. Gallagher, 33, was riding his motorcycle on Fullerton Avenue in Whitehall when he lost control and struck a curb, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg where he died from multiple traumatic injuries around 8:50 p.m., the Coroner said. His manner of death was ruled accidental. In addition to the Coroner's Office, Whitehall police are investigating.

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 43-year-old man who was found with stolen firearms while driving on a suspended license in Montgomery County, police said. Jonathan Karcher was stopped on Sept. 25, 2023 on Welsh Road in Lower Moreland by an officer who watched him violate multiple traffic rules, and noticed he had a tinted plate rendering it unreadable, the LMPD said. Man Charged In Murder Of Wife, Mother-In-Law In Philadelphia Home: Report
Police have made an arrest in the killings of a mother and daughter in Philadelphia earlier this week. Angela Trejo, 75, and Alma Barberena, 58, were found dead in the basement of a Bingham Street home around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, police said. They had both suffered stab wounds and pronounced dead at then scene 15 minutes later.
