Bergen County is home to towns that boast some of the most expensive property tax bills the U.S.

But which towns average the cheapest property tax bills?

New data from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs shows that both the average property tax bills in Bergen ($11,564) and Passaic ($9,781) counties are higher than the state's averageĀ ($8,690).

Below are the 10 Bergen County towns that averaged the cheapest property tax bills in 2017.
