EMERSON, N.J. -- Bergen County prosecutor's detectives busted a college student from Emerson who they said was selling Xanax on the street.
Acting on a tip, detectives obtained a search warrant after seeing 21-year-old Eric Buschbacher "conduct a hand-to-hand drug transaction" outside his home, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.
They found Xanax pills and THC wax, for which they charged Buschbacher with distribution and possession of drugs, he said.
Buschbacher was released without bail pending a first appearance in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, the prosecutor said.
Grewal credited his detectives, along with officers from Dumont, Emerson, New Milford and the Bergen County Sheriff's Office.
