PARK RIDGE, N.J. — The Acoustic Cafe presents a special benefit concert for Stigma Free Park Ridge on Saturday, Oct. 24 featuring Suzzy Roche and Lucy Wainwright Roche, with special guest RocheandFather, David Roche & his daughter Oona.
Suzzy Roche is a founding member of acclaimed singing group The Roches, originally from Park Ridge. In addition to recording numerous albums with The Roches, Suzzy has recorded two solo albums.
Lucy (daughter of Loudon Wainwright, brother of Rufus & Martha) is known for her crystal clear voice, humorous stage presence and insightful, melodic songwriting. With four critically acclaimed recordings she has firmly established her own presence in a family of musicians.
The Stigma Free Initiative of Park Ridge to bring awareness, education and opportunity to help reduce mental health stigma.
The Acoustic Cafe is a live music venue presenting local, independent and nationally touring performers. It is a non-profit organization and 100% volunteer operated.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Academy, 25 Fremont Road.
Tickets cost $30 online or $32 at the door.
