Driver Charged With DWI After Slamming Into Car On Route 59

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. --  The driver of a 2012 Mustang who slammed into the rear of another vehicle Sunday morning on Route 59 in Rockland has been charged with DWI.

Ramapo police responded to the crash in the early morning hours on Sunday. When officers arrived, they found the unidentified driver of the Mustang had read-ended a 2006 Chevrolet, police said.

After hitting the Chevrolet, the Mustang left the roadway, struck an embankment, and rolled over, finally landing back on its wheels, police said.

The driver was arrested and charged with DWI along with other vehicle and traffic laws.
