The team — which practices in Montvale and Paramus — lost to the New Fairfield Falcons from Connecticut in the first round of the round-robin 59th Pop Warner Super Bowl on Dec. 6 (SEE: Bergen County Pop Warner Team Aims For National Championship).

The star of the day was Jed DeNobile of Upper Saddle River, Coach Anthony Galella said.

DeNobile had three interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns. He also scored on a two-point conversion.

"The entire team played great blocking and tackling all game," said, Galella of Midland Park. "The coaches did a great job preparing the boys for the games and we ended the season on a high note."

The team will return home this weekend.
