MONTVALE, N.J. — Michael Bruno has accepted the job as principal at St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale beginning next year.
Barry Donnelly is currently the principal of St. Joe's, Bruno's alma mater.
OLMC is seeking a new principal and Bruno — a longtime OLMC parishioner — is committed to making that person's transition into the school as smooth as possible, he said in a letter on Wednesday.
"In recent years, our Academy has experienced tremendous growth, and it is thriving," Bruno wrote. "This is a testament to the strength of the OLMC community. I am extremely confident that the Academy will continue to experience incredible success moving forward.
"It is an understatement to say that I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work at the two institutions that have so profoundly affected my life.
"I will be forever indebted to the generosity and kindness of so many."
