Councilman Says Schools Sup't Is Anti-Washington Township, Should Resign

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A Washington Township councilman at this week's meeting said that Superintendent Raymond Gonzalez should step down and accused him of being anti-Township, NorthJersey.com reports.

Thomas Sears feels Gonzalez and the Westwood Regional School Board haven't done enough to resolve a parking issue at the high school, the article says.

The councilman also feels that $3 million is too much money for the district to spend on a maintenance garage and concession stand at the high school, NorthJersey.com says.
