Can't Stop, Won't Stop: Pascack Valley High Sets 24-Hour Theatre Festival

HILLSDALE, N.J. -- A 24 Hour Theatre Festival is being presented Saturday, Sept. 24 for the first time by PV Theatre, Pascack Valley High School's award-winning theatre program.

Students in grades 9 through 12 will write, direct, design, and perform original works that will be composed, rehearsed, and presented all in one 24-hour period. 

Participants will meet for the first time on Friday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m., where they will find out who will be working together and receive a prompt to inspire their work. 

Writers will have scripts ready early Saturday morning, when actors and directors will begin rehearsal. 

Saturday afternoon will be devoted to preparing and rehearsing the technical elements of the performances, and the curtain goes up at 7 p.m. that night. 

Tickets to Saturday night's performances are $8 and available at the door beginning at 6:30 p.m.
