HILLSDALE, N.J. -- The Hillsdale Borough Council is expected to vote Oct. 6 on whether to adopt an ordinance that bans the purchase of tobacco to people ages 21 and over, according to northjersey.com .
If passed, Hillsdale will join Englewood, East Rutherford, Teaneck, Bogota and Westwood, which already have passed similar ordinances.
The Hillsdale ordinance will include a ban against anyone under 21 purchasing electronic smoking devices, according to northjersey.co m.
