Calamari Beats Bruno, Dems Sweep In Westwood

Council President Peter Calamari (R) beat Councilman Robert Bruno in the Washington Township mayoral election, according to unofficial results from the Bergen County Elections Office.

Calamari won 1,421 votes and Bruno won 1,323.

Michael DeSena and Arthur Cumming won the Washington Township council election.

Collins and Murphy (dems) swept the Westwood election, ousting republicans Montana and Owens.

John Ruocco (1,902) beat Michael Sheinfeld (1,234) in the Hillsdale mayoral election.

Democrat Keith Misciagna (1,092) will take over as the new Park Ridge mayor, beating Republican Richard Bosi (656).
