PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- Bergen County Clerk John S. Hogan promoted his “Around the County – Historic Pride” initiative in Park Ridge on Wednesday, May 25, presenting Mayor Terry Maguire and the Council with a reproduction of some of the town’s historic documents.
The Around the County program is intended to promote community pride and historical awareness by highlighting some of Bergen County’s earliest historic documents.
Items such as articles of incorporation, certificates for exempt fire fighters and original election results have long been archived at the Office of the Bergen County Clerk.
Throughout the year, Hogan will present the poster board collages to the governing body of each municipality.
Identical copies will also be displayed at 1 Bergen County Plaza in Hackensack.
