Woodcliff Lake police got the call of someone going through cars on Highview Avenue near the Hillsdale border late last night.

An alert went out, and Hillsdale Officer Dave Sayers immediately began chasing one of the pair.

A dragnet involving other officers eventually closed on 18-year-old Robert Glasgow (above, left), who was found in nearby Wood Dale Park, a law enforcement source with knowledge of the arrests told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The search for the second suspect lasted hours, but police finally found 27-year-old Jonathan Bevilaque trying to hide along the railroad line not far from Highview, he said.

Glasgow and Bevilaque are each charged with seven counts of burglary, one of receiving stolen property and one of having burglar tools, records show.

Bevilaque also was charged with drug possession.
