Detectives said they also found pot and drug paraphernalia after they searched the Rockland Avenue home of Michael Sapuppo, a New York electrician.
Sapuppo was buying and distributing “images and videos of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts,” Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.
The prosecutor thanked police from River Vale, Oradell and Ramsey for this assistance in the Cyber Crimes Unit investigation, led by Detective David Apgar of his office.
Sapuppo was being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, chargd with two counts of child endangerment — by having and by transmitting kiddie porn — as well as possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute the drug and possession of pot paraphernalia.
A Tuesday afternoon Central Municipal Court date was scheduled.
