A weekly drug sweep netted Rocci L. Marttine, 29, and Kevin W. Kohberg, 33, after officers on East 26th Street found them carrying 37 folds of heroin and bag of crack, city Police Director Jerry Speziale said.

They also arrested 24-year-old Tamir Blackwood of Paterson, who they said sold the drugs to both men, he said.

Blackwood was still carrying 11 bags of crack -- along with nearly $500 in alleged drug proceeds -- when police busted him, the director said.

Marttine was arrested last July by Bergen County prosecutor's detectives and Ridgefield police who said that he and his father were selling drugs from their home.

Back in Paterson, another sweep on East 28th Street not only produced the arrest of an Oradell man -- identified as 26-year-old Brian D. Low -- who police said was carrying three prescription Oxycodone pills bought on the street.

The strike team also seized a .380-caliber High Point handgun, along with 152 folds of heroin, 10 bags of cocaine and 16 Oxycodone pills from Miguel A. Torres, 21, and Dominique Turzilli, 24, both of Paterson, after they sold the three pills to Low, Speziale said.

Torres and Turzilli were both charged with a variety of drug and weapons offenses, he said.

Police also seized $1,679 in alleged drug proceeds that they'll look to have forfeited, the director said.
