Staffers told Officers Michael Camporeale and Brian Considine that David Luna, 25, was among a group of unruly men who were asked to leave after becoming unruly and fighting around 2:30 a.m., Detective William Diedtrich said.

Threatening the staff, Luna claimed he had a gun and “made gestures as if he had a firearm in his waistband,” Diedtrich said.

“After hearing these threats the bar staff quickly closed the doors to safeguard the patrons and awaited the arrival of the police department,” the detective said.

The officers arrested Luna, who didn’t have a weapon, he said.

A judge ordered him held on $10,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with making terroristic threats.

Luna, who also had active warrants out of Oradell and Paramus, posted bail on Christmas Day and was released from the jail pending a hearing, records show.
