Andrew J. Jefferson, 26, and Deshun Hill, 23, both single and unemployed, were being held in South Carolina pending extradition to New Jersey, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Friday.

Authorities accused the pair of accosting the victim just before 3 p.m. Sunday at the Extended Stay America Hotel on Route 3, taking what sources told Daily Voice was $11,000, leaving him with several stab wounds and fleeing south on the NJ Turnpike.

The vicdtim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, the prosecutor said.

Jefferson and Hill fled to South Carolina, where Jefferson was arrested on Monday and Hill on Thursday, Grewal said.
