Lewd-talking driver tried to lure kids into car, cops say

A 35-year-old married Cliffside Park man turned himself in to Park Ridge police after three children said he pulled up to them in his car and made “sexually suggestive” comments. The oldest of the three, a 13-year-old, alertly got the license plate number and the driver was arrested at the nearby Park Ridge Marriott, where he’d been working as a cook for only two weeks, authorities said. The other two children are 11 and 9.

Pasquale Boccassini

Pasquale “Patsy” Boccassini, of 428 Lafayette Avenue, approached the youngsters yesterday in Park Ridge, “made sexually suggestive comments to [them] and attempted to lure the children into his motor vehicle,” said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.

Boccasini is behind held on $150,000 cash bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with attempted aggravated sexual assault, attempted sexual assault and luring.

A graduate of North Bergen High School and Hudson County Vo-Tech (both 1998), Boccassini handles mostly banquet cooking for Marriott International, according to his Facebook page.

“I am the utillity player of the kitchen,” he wrote. “I do everything and anything to get the job done.”

He said he’s into the Yankees, “Family Guy,” stoner films and wrestling magazines.

The prosecutor credited Park Ridge police and his own Sex Crimes and Child Abuse and Computer Crimes units for their work in making the arrest.
