The victim, who was taken to the HUMC at Pascack Valley in Westwood after being struck at Bedford Avenue at 5:10 p.m. Oct 10, survived her injuries, Capt. Mustafa Rabboh said.

Meanwhile, authorities hoped the public could help find the black 2013 Nissan Rogue SL with tinted windows that the captain said hit her as the driver made an illegal left onto South Washington from Bedfor.

The vehicle sped off the wrong way down one-way Bedford Avenue, he said.

The Bergenfield Nissan dealership helped identify the specific type of vehicle after detectives obtained surveillance video.

It "possibly sustained front end damage or damage to the hood," Rabboh said.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to contact the Bergenfield Police Department: (201) 387-4000.
