YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: The Woodcliff Lake Health & Rehabilitation Center nursing home was evacuated this morning because of an overheated generator.
No injuries were reported.
Residents there were relocated to the senior center at Tice’s Corner after the evacuation, which began around 8:30 and ended just after 9:45.
Acute care residents were taken to local hospitals.
The privately owned, 114-bed Woodcliff Lake Health & Rehabilitation Center specializes in subacute care and rehabilitation, while providing long-term, respite and hospice care services.
