MONTVALE, N.J. -- Sebastian J. Pandolfi, of Montvale, died at age 99.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and one of the original crew members aboard the USS Intrepid.
He enjoyed a long career as the director of the finance division of the New York Regional Post Office, taking post-secondary courses in data processing and administration at New York University. He later worked as assistant financial director of Bergen County Special Services, retiring in 1990.
He was a parishioner of the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Serra International and the Sons of Italy.
He was the father of Joseph Pandolfi and his wife Joann, Elena Pandolfi and Vincent Pandolfi; grandfather of five; and great-grandfather of two.
He was predeceased by four brothers and a sister.
Funeral service and entombment were private.
