HILLSDALE, N. J. -- Robert Brue Jr., a Hillsdale resident and youth sports volunteer, died Nov. 24. He was 45.
Born to Robert and Rose Brue, he was an entrepreneur in the construction business. He also was active with the Hillsdale Hawks Football Association and was a coach for Pascack Valley Wrestling.
In addition to his parents, survivors include wife Heather (nee Saglibene) Brue; and sons of Nicholas and Jack. Also, he is survived by his siblings Danna (John) Kyritz; Michelle (Tom) Silvestri; Patricia (Mark) Marinco; James (Lauren) Brue, and Krystal (Anthony) Butler; many nieces and nephews and his grandmother Domenica Spinella.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell.
The funeral begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, then to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Bogota for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will be in Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be made to the Hillsdale Hawks Football Association.
