HILLSDALE, N.J. -- Hillsdale resident Lillian “Lily” Rathbun, formerly of Dumont, died at home on Tuesday, Dec. 8. She was 84.
Rathbun retired from the Meat Cutters Union Local 464A in Little Falls. She worked at Stop & Shop in Closter for many years. She had also been a member of the Dumont Elks Ladies Auxiliary.
Rathbun is survived by her children Donna Rathbun of Dumont, Michael Rathbun of Point Pleasant, Constance Rathbun of Hamburg and Tina Bryson and her husband Christopher of Hillsdale; grandchildren Coreen, Daniel, Sarah; great grandchildren Julia, Gina and Joseph. She is also survived by her siblings Dearest sister of Mary Schults, William Luciano, Nancy Rybicki.
Rathbun is predeceased by her siblings Joyce, Ralph and John as well as her granddaughter Andrea.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue in Northvale with a service to be held at 6 p.m.
