Josephine J. Cavalucci, 84, Of Park Ridge

PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- Josephine J. Cavalucci (nee Lamparello), 84, of Park Ridge and Spring Hill, Fla., passed away peacefully Sunday, July 3, 2016.

She was the wife of Ralph J. Cavalucci Sr. for 61 years; mother of Rosanne Cavalucci, Cathy DeGregorio, Ralph J. Cavalucci Jr. and Mary O’Donnell and Therese Cavalucci; sister of John Lamparello Jr. and his wife Helene and the late Edward J. and Gerard A. Lamparello; and grandmother of Anthony M. DeGregorio. She also is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., grew up in Rutherford and came to Park Ridge in 1975. She enjoyed a 25-year career with Mercedes-Benz, retiring as a domestic distribution specialist in 1996.

There will be a funeral Mass Thursday at Our Lady of Mercy R. C. Church, 46 Pascack Road, Park Ridge. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert Spearing Funeral Home Inc., 155 Kinderkamack Road, Park Ridge. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Christian Health Care Center, 301 Sicomac Ave., Wykoff, NJ 07481.
