WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. -- Edna Ccascardo, a resident of Woodcliff Lake and formerly a longtime resident of Wyckoff, died Sunday, March 20. She was 88.
She was born in Buenos Aires, Agentina and came to the United States with her husband, first settling in Buffalo, N.Y. in 1959, before coming to Bergen County in 1964. She volunteered her time through school activities, including the Economy Shop in Wyckoff.
She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Cascardo; her son, Alex C. Cascardo and his wife, Linda; her grandchildren, Ryan, Amy and Peter; and her sisters, Gladys Cipolla and Mildred Requena, who reside in Argentina.
The Cascardo family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff.
