PARK RIDGE, N.J. – Catherine V. (Boyle) Lee, a resident of Lake Ariel, Pa., and a former resident of Park Ridge and Bayonne, died unexpectedly Friday, June 10. She was 82.
She was born Feb. 24, 1934. She was retired as president and CEO of Jack Lee Associates, and previously worked at Montgomery Ward, Westinghouse, the Montvale Board of Education, KVL Systems and Sony Corp. She was a lifelong philanthropist who donated to children’s funds, to her home parishes and to organizations that promulgated the Roman Catholic Faith. She loved to bowl, hum and read the newspaper, especially the Irish papers.
She is survived by her daughters, Maureen Lore and Grace Ann Arnold; son-in-law, Lee Arnold; siblings, Hugh Boyle, Alice Boyle, John Boyle and Mary Ellen Hipsley; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Boyle, Teresa Lee and Noreen Scheurer; grandchildren, Ryan, Jack, Annie, Olivia, Alice, Catherine and Nora; Godchildren, Kathleen Boyle LaBarbera, Susan Boyle, Anthony Hipsley, Kathleen Lee Mallon and Michael K. Reidy; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) Lee; and by her son, Patrick.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Robert Spearing Funeral Home, Park Ridge. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 46 Pascack Road, Park Ridge.
