Wrongful Death Suit Filed Against Woodcliff Lake Assisted Living Facility

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. – The son of a man who died last year has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Woodcliff Lake assisted living facility where his father resided, NJ.com reports.

In the suit, Scott Kosmin alleges the staff of The Bristal Assisted Living At Woodcliff Lake failed to monitor his 88-year-old father’s medical conditions from June 1 through June 24, 2016, the story says.

Eugene Kosmin, who had Alzheimer’s died on June 25 in a hospital, the story says.

The suit claims that over the three week period staff failed to "recognize significant changes in (Kosmin's) condition" which led to his death from dehydration, sepsis, kidney failure, urinary tract infection and other medical conditions, the story says.
