Woodcliff Lake Earns Tree City Nomination For 10th Year

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. -- The mayor of Woodcliff Lake announces that the borough has received its 10th Tree City nomination is invited to the state's Arbor Day celebration on Friday, April 29.Mayor Carlos Rendo said the borough will receive an award from the State Forest Service at the ceremony at Veterans Park in Parsippany-Troy Hills. The presentation is at 11 a.m. State Forester John Sacco told the mayor in a letter that reaching 10 years is a big accomplishment in the Tree City USA program.
