RIVER VALE, N.J. -- Construction to stabilize Rivervale Road will enter its third and fourth phases at the beginning of April and is expected to cause travel delays, according to River Vale Police.
During phases 3 and 4 Rivervale Road north of Westwood Avenue will be closed and available to local traffic only, all other traffic must follow designated detours.
Northbound Western Detour:
Westwood Avenue to Cedar Lane to Piermont Avenue to Ruckman Road to Prospect Avenue to Rivervale Road.
Northbound Eastern Detour:
Westwood Avenue to Washington Avenue to Old Tappan Road toRivervale Road.
Southbound Western Detour:
Prospect Avenue to Ruckman Road toPiermont Avenue to Cedar Lane to Westwood Avenue to Rivervale Road.
Southbound Eastern Detour:
Rivervale Road to Old Tappan Road to Washington Avenue to Westwood Avenue.
Construction is expected to take up to two months, police said.
