NY Amber Alert Leads To Felony Charges For Pair Of Teens

UPDATE: The Amber Alert activated Tuesday by New York State Police after a 12-year-old upstate girl was abducted has resulted in felony charges for two teenagers.

New York State Police have activated an AMBER Alert for a 12-year-old girl abducted in upstate New York by a pair of teen boys Tuesday morning.

The suspects, John Harvey, 16, and Joshua R. Monette, 18, took McKenzie Wilson at about 5 a.m. in Lydon, NY under circumstances that lead police to believe she is in imminent danger of serious bodily harm or death.

They were last seen traveling southeast in a red pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet Silverado with NY plates CXA5836, authorities said.

McKenzie is 5-foot-6, 100 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.

The suspects are believed to be possibly armed with handguns, authorities said. 

Monette is 6-foot-2, 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. No physical description of Harvey was provided. Photos of both suspect, and the abducted child, are above.
