New Crossing Sign Installed At Busy Hillsdale Intersection

HILLSDALE, N.J. -- A newly installed crossing sign will make it easier for Hillsdale pedestrians trying to cross the street at the intersection of Broadway and Park Avenue, according to NorthJersey.com.

The new lighted sign is controlled by buttons that light up the sign when pushed to alert drivers that a pedestrian is trying to cross the road, said NorthJersey.com.

The light was installed after the police department received numerous complaints from residents saying drivers would not stop so they could cross the street, added NorthJersery.com.
