EMERSON, N.J. -- Emerson's Borough Council is considering an ordinance regarding commercial filming, The Record has reported.
Those filming would need permits -- costing $250 a day, according to The Record -- but news companies, student films and those by charitable organizations would be exempt.
According to The Record, the proposed regulation would also deal with
- safety standards,
- post-filming cleanup,
- toilet facilities for workers, and
- proving notice to nearby homes or businesses.
