WESTWOOD, N.J. -- Iron Horse Restaurant, with its child-friendly menu and emphasis on family -- it's family-owned after all -- is the winner of our DVlicious "Best Family-Friendly Restaurant in Bergen" contest.
The Westwood eatery won with 38 percent of the vote. Owner Lee Tremble, known to many as "Uncle Lee," said he allows access to his office where he has a rocking chair ideal for nursing moms. The restaurant also offers non-toxic Crayola crayons, coloring sheets, changing tables and high chairs as well as a super child-friendly menu that allows kids who can order something else if they taste and don't like their first choice. The eatery is also a Poke stop.
The restaurant will receive a framed DVlicious certificate as well as bragging rights to pleasing both the young and young at heart.
