MONTVALE, N.J. -- THE GYM in Montvale recently partnered with The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to host a week-long fundraiser to promote suicide awareness.
Fundraising events which included a vendor fair, raffles, silent auctions, and a meditation workshop, helped THE GYM raise $5,370 with all proceeds going to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Northern NJ Chapter.
The funds donated will be used to administer programs to be held at Northern Highlands Regional High School.
"On behalf of the Northern Highlands school community, we would like to thank THE GYM and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for their generous donation," Mike Koth, Vice Principal of Northern Highlands Regional High School said in a statement. "This contribution will help further our district goal to support student wellness."
