'Teen Anxiety On The Rise' Program Comes To Montvale

MONTVALE, N.J. -- The Hills-Valley Coalition's Stigma Free Committee is bringing its special program, "Teen Anxiety on the Rise," to Pascack Hills High School on Wednesday, May 4.

At 6 p.m., there will be a mental health fair, featuring over 40 local resources. At 7 p.m., keynote speaker Dr. Paul Foxman will speak. He's the author of "The Worried Child" and "Dancing With Fear."

The mission of the Hills Valley Coalition for Resilient Youth is to educate and inform the community at large about how to promote a healthy, safe and substance-free environment that encourages the development of a positive lifestyle for youth and reduces at-risk teen behavior.

It was established 16 years ago with the school districts' partnership with law enforcement, municipal leaders and residents to unify prevention efforts and community resources in Hillsdale, River Vale, Montvale and Woodcliff Lake.
