HILLSDALE, N.J. — An organic Hillsdale salon will be holding its 6th annual green fair and market on Sunday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Oradell.
The B Hive Organic Salon is partnering up again with the Borough of Oradell to feature more than 50 local and handmade vendors. The event boasts rides, games, crafts, food trucks, and live music and animals at Veterans Plaza, next to the Oradell Train Station.
Salon owners James and Angela Alba of Oradell will be raising funds for several beneficiaries at this year’s fair including The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation, Children's Aid Family Services and more.
"We continue to spread as much great information as we can to our local community whether it is about beauty products, eco-practices or just being better to our planet," owner and operator Angela Alba said.
The B Hive is the only eco-friendly salon in Bergen County and utilizes wind-powered energy and LED lighting, recycled paper products, reclaimed wood tables and tin mirrors and more.
