WESTWOOD, N.J. -- Attention shoppers. A new online venture is set to go live Thursday, July 21.
Lara Henawi, owner of Westwood's Boho boutique Ludovica, has partnered with Denville resident Kathleen Deleasa, a recent Montclair State University grad, to expand her store online. (No worries, folks, the brick and mortar location isn't going anywhere; this is simply an additional shopping experience.)
" Ludovica online is something we've been working on for a while and are very excited about it," said Henawi, who graduated with a degree in marketing from Ramapo College this past spring. "For now, it will offer mostly apparel, jewelry, and a couple of hats and bags. However, we're in the works of adding shoes and a ton more accessories."
She promises viewers will see "things you'd find in the store plus online exclusives."
The Saddle Brook resident decided to expand her store to the virtual world because it offers more room for creativity, more space for inventory, and a larger target market. "Online opens so many doors for us to expand nationwide and hopefully internationally, one day," she said. "We have huge plans."
